OUR STAFF
DR JERRY UPP DVM
Dr. Upp is a 1990 graduate of Ohio State University. He practices with emphasis in small animals and exotic medicine and orthopedic surgery. In addition to providing veterinary care locally, He has been deployed to an avian influenza outbreak in Virginia and was deployed to help during Hurricane Katrina. Dr. Upp and wife, Stephanie have three children and three grandchildren. His hobbies include Hunting, mountain biking and tinkering with his classic cars.
DR. SUSAN WALKER DVM
Dr. Walker is a Wyoming native; she received her veterinary degree from Colorado State University. She previously taught Veterinary Technician courses at Eastern Wyoming College before joining the Midtown team. She has been with Midtown Animal Hospital since 2023. Outside of work, Dr Walker loves spending time with her husband David and grown children, Todd and Emma. She also enjoys their critters ranging from cats, dogs, ducks, chickens, sheep, cattle and horses.
DR. BRIANNA RIVORD DVM
Dr. Rivord is a 2026 graduate from Colorado State University of Veterinary Medicine. I am originally from Wyoming where I grew up on a small ranch with numerous critters. I have a passion for all animals large and small. In my free time I enjoy camping with my dog, riding horses, reading, and spending time with my husband.
LINDA BOURLIER, LVT
Linda has been with Midtown since 2005. She graduated from Eastern Wyoming College in 2005 and is a member of the Nebraska Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA). Linda and husband, Eric, have been married since 2013 and have two beautiful children. Her fur children include; three dogs (Duke, Ice and Bandit), and a turtle (Jade). Her hobbies include exercising, camping and spending time with family.
KELSEY ASHFORD LVT
Kelsey has been with Midtown since 2023, and in the veterinary medicine world for 7 years.
She is married to her high school sweetheart since 2017. They welcomed a baby girl (Charlie) in May of 2025. She has a passion for animals and looks forward to caring for all the critters coming to our clinic.
KRISTINA HALL LVT
Kristina is a recent graduate from Eastern Wyoming College. She has a passion for animals and spends most of her time with her horses. She enjoys barrel racing and starting colts. She also enjoys showing dogs in competitions.
LORA WILKENS: TECH ASSISTANT
She has been with Midtown since May of 2024 after relocating from city life in Waverly, NE to a farm out in the country with her sister and (best friend-Goose) who is her border collie since 2017. Her hobbies include: Crafting, wood working, and working "Goose: in the pasture with the sheep.
ALEJANDRA (ALEX) SIERRA: TECH ASSISTANT AND KENNEL TECHNICIAN
She has been with Midtown since May 2024. She completed an internship for high school, and loved "Vet Medicine" so much; that she joined our team. She is currently attending Penn-Foster University to earn her degree as a Veterinary technician. Her hobbies include crocheting, drawing, reading, and spending time with her cat "Skunk", and her ferret "Arlo".
STEPHANIE MARRIL: OFFICE MANAGER
Stephanie has been an employee of the Midtown staff since 2016. Stephanie and husband, Gene, have one wonderful son (Jaxson). Her hobbies include; spending time with family, fishing, gardening, crafting and baking delicious treats.
VICKI SHANKS: LEAD CSR (RECEPTIONIST)
She has been with Midtown since 2020. She is a mom of 6 (3 boys & 3 girls) Also a nana to a small army of grandchildren. She loves spending time with her family, grilling and playing cornhole, Traveling, and riding motorcycles with her Husband John.
LILIANA CISNEROS CSR (RECEPTIONIST)
She has been with Midtown since September of 2024. She is expanding her knowledge by venturing into the veterinary world. She loves spending time with her partner Trent, traveling, cooking and baking. She plans to attend culinary school in the future as she is an expert cook and baker. Everything from Tiramisu to Creamy salmon pasta.
CHARLIE: (LEAD PEOPLE GREETER)
He has been with Midtown since 2005. As the veteran around here, he likes to delegate orders, take long naps, demand snacks and bully the customers into petting him and scratching behind his ears.
MARLEY: (2nd IN COMMAND PEOPLE GREETER)
He has been with Midtown since May of 2024. He loves greeting the customers, yelling at the staff demanding snacks, stealing your chair the very minute you move. He also likes to nap on top of the cabinets in our treatment area or in random empty boxes, watching the staff like a hawk.
KENNEL STAFF SERVICES
Midtown Animal Hospital also employs two full time and 2 part time kennel staff to provide the best care while your pet comes to board with us. We would be more than happy to give you a tour of our boarding facility to see where your pet will be staying during your time away.
Bedding, bowls, food are supplied during your pets stay with us.
